Why do you look suffering?
Why are you sweetly smiling?
Why do we have to keep on living?
When our hands are left with nothing.
With what you truly fear,
For me, it still isn’t clear.
But I couldn’t tell you,
when you’re gently smiling in the quiet snow.
I know you’re lying.
I wanted this to end
But ever since I met you
I’ve been longing to see your smile again.
This may be impossible
Yet forever, I’ll be waiting for you.

Why are you so wounded?
Why are you staring fiercely ahead?
Why do we have to seek kindness?
When the world is full of emptiness.
No matter how painful,
You never asked for anything at all
But I couldn’t tell you,
When you’re smiling so kindly though I’m weary.
I know you’re lying.

I wanted this to end
But ever since I met you
I’ve dreamt of moving forward with you.
This may be impossible
Yet forever, I’ll be waiting for you.

I wanted this to end
But because of meeting you
I’ve been longing to see your smile again.
Even if the world is crushing
But for you, I’d still be waiting
I wanted this to end
But now that I’ve met you
I might be able to move ahead without you.
Still and all I won’t give in
Even if how wearying the world you’re in.
